Penny’s Ride for the Cure

Penny’s Ride for the Cure

Penny’s Ride was created to honor the memory of Penny Carney Bevilaqua, who passed from amyloidosis in 2016. This ride, started by her family, will be an annual fun, athletic, family event to raise funds for the Amyloidosis Foundation plus spread amyloidosis awareness in her community.

Please join us on Saturday, October 21, 2017 for Penny’s Ride for the Cure at the scenic Riverbluff Park, beside the Cumberland River in Ashland City, Tennessee (her hometown). There is an 11 or 19 mile course for skilled riders and then a Fun Ride, about 2 – 3 miles for everyone else (children, teens, etc). Get your bikes ready to ride for Penny! Her family will lead the Fun Ride.

‘Everday is a gift’ was one of Penny’s favorite sayings. Please support this event in her honor and help raise awareness of amyloidosis.
