The Amyloidosis Research Consortium’s survey, which many of you took part in, is having a far reaching impact. The results were displayed in a poster session recently at the European Hematology Meeting in Vienna. It highlights the many challenges of the amyloidosis community regrding the issues with obtaining a correct diagnosis, supportive information, and tolerating treatment. It also features the need for better treatment and more research. The survey and poster have generated a great deal of interest and they have become a great tool to raise awareness and shape the future of amyloidosis research and education.
